Built to make the doorbell personal.
Ring HomePod Doorbell began with one practical goal: let a Ring event play a sound chosen by the household, across exactly the rooms that should hear it.
A focused bridge, not another cloud.
The project connects Ring events with OwnTone and AirPlay while keeping audio files and playback settings on the owner's server. The web interface is designed to make setup approachable without hiding the technical realities of a local smart-home system.
